What gets preserved

  • Every message — text, markdown, LaTeX, code, tables
  • Thinking blocks, tool calls, tool results
  • Artifacts and inline visualize widgets (rendered live)
  • Files Claude wrote (markdown reports, scripts) — one-click download
  • Project docs · global & project memories · design chats · account stats

Binary outputs (xlsx, pdf, png, etc.) aren't in Claude's export — only the script that generated them. Run the script to reproduce.

Privacy

Everything happens in your browser. The zip is parsed locally with JSZip, content is sanitized with DOMPurify, math typeset with KaTeX, and the parsed data is cached in your origin's IndexedDB. No network requests are made after the page loads. .
